We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Licensed Industrial Electrician to join our team. The Industrial Electrician must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and experience with low voltage systems. The Industrial Electrician will ensure all electrical components operate safely and efficiently, supporting the overall productivity of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on robots, CNC machines, conveyors, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems and equipment in industrial settings
- Install, replace and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, conduits, switch boxes and other electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of equipment installations
- Work with low voltage wiring and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before failure occurs
- Assist in the installation of new electrical infrastructure during construction or upgrades
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for self and colleagues
Key Education and Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industrial Electrician License (Required)
- 3-5 years' experience (Required)
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or in a similar electrical role within manufacturing or construction environments
- Working knowledge of PLC systems
- Working knowledge of testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical testing equipment
- Construction experience is a plus, especially related to industrial facilities
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
Pay: $43.75-$47.24 per hour
