Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The typical job for a candidate will be responsible for proper preparation, application, and detail to different products and surfaces. We paint interiors, exteriors, decks, and fences. It is majorly residential work in the South-West area of Winnipeg.
Painters typically work in a crew of 2. We have a program where if a person applying refers a friend, they can work together!
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts or perform touch-ups
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure proper storage of materials
- Monitor paint quality and ensure finishes meet specifications
- Be respectful to all clients and keep our company image strong
Skills
- Having a vehicle is required (to get back and forth to different job sites)
- Quick-learner and motivated to work
- Detail-oriented
- Consistent
- Able to work from heights/ladders
- Good communication skills
All necessary training will be provided; no previous experience needed.
