We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator / Quality Control Inspector (CWB Level 1) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal components according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards using tools such as calipers, measuring tapes, and other precision instruments.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections at various stages of production to verify dimensions, weld integrity, and overall workmanship.
- Utilize data collection techniques to document inspection results, process deviations, and quality metrics accurately.
- Perform detailed analysis of fabrication processes and inspection data to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous quality enhancement.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards such as CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) requirements by adhering to established procedures and certifications.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality management systems that support manufacturing excellence and product consistency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing defects or non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on metal fabrication or welding.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, quality control procedures, and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with QA/QC practices including visual inspections, measurements with calipers, and data collection methods.
- Ability to analyze inspection results critically and communicate findings clearly to team members.
- Previous experience working with CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) standards or similar certification bodies is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong analysis skills to uphold product integrity.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and equipment operation.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 58.0 per week

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- QC & Inspections: 2 years (preferred)
