Oven Operator
Location: Lindsay, ON
Pay Rate: $22–$25/hour
Shift Timing: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently hiring an experienced Oven Operator for a large-scale production warehouse in Lindsay, ON. This role involves operating industrial ovens in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Candidates must have previous experience working with commercial or industrial ovens and be comfortable handling large-scale production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor industrial ovens during large-scale production
- Ensure products are baked according to company quality standards and production schedules
- Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product consistency
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Maintain production flow and meet daily production targets
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues immediately
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Oven Operator is required
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, bakery, or large-scale production environment preferred
- Strong understanding of industrial oven operations and production processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working overnight shifts (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Peterborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
