Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ/DZ Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across various routes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance, with a focus on safety and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ/DZ licensed vehicles, including trucks and trailers, for local or regional freight delivery
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling and securement
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed for loading/unloading or other logistical tasks
Experience
- Valid AZ/DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or logistics preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous
- Prior experience operating large vehicles or trucks in a professional setting is highly desirable
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
