HVAC & Plumbing Project Coordinator

Legacy Heating & Cooling is one of Alberta’s fastest-growing HVAC & Plumbing contractors, delivering quality projects on time and on budget. We are seeking a RNC HVAC & Plumbing Project Coordinator to support project teams and ensure smooth operations.
The RNC HVAC & Plumbing Project Coordinator is accountable for overseeing the successful schedule and completion of field staff for residential new home construction. You must be able to effectively communicate with customers; conduct yourself in a professional manner; and be able to recognize and resolve any scheduling conflicts immediately. Your focus and attention to detail is key to success in this position as it requires constant monitoring to maintain efficiency in production timelines.
Key Responsibilities
· Utilize Scheduling of Field Foreman to perform mark outs, quality control inspections, measure ups and assistance with field training.
· Utilize Scheduling of HVAC Install staff to perform rough in's, ductwork, finals, duct cleaning, and fixup's/quality control items
· Utilize Scheduling of staff to perform rough in's, duct work, finals, and fixup's/quality control items
· Utilize Scheduling of Warranty Tech to perform calls based on the Priority of Service Rating, Emergencies/Repairs/Maintenance/Orientations
· Ensuring the scheduled jobs are completed on time to meet customer expectations.
· Provide the shop adequate time to order equipment, fabricate material and package the job for installation
· Scheduling using our customized user-friendly software program.
· Providing feedback to builders upon completion of tasks. (i.e. completion of warranty tasks, Red Tag completions etc.)
· Ensuring accounting is aware of jobs to be invoiced
· Pulling permits & scheduling inspections in applicable jurisdictions
· Keep overall labor percentages, material, and revenue in check with company expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
· An understanding & dedication to the company's core values
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize our customer's schedule in line with Legacy's production procedures
· Ability to communicate effectively and efficiency with customers, management, and field staff
· Attention to details and the ability to communicate those details in daily tasks.
· Have a basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building codes.
· Ability to perform as a team player, be professional in your instructions to field staff and interactions both work wise and socially with colleagues
