Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the condition of the vehicle and cargo. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on efficiency and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience with freight transportation and commercial driving operations
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform automotive repairs is a plus
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation purposes
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in automotive repair or troubleshooting is advantageous
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy items, and perform vehicle inspections as required

Pay: $45,447.82-$120,000.00 per year
