Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Masons and labourers to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of commercial and residential projects. We work with all kinds of brick, block, stone, veneer and any other masonry materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with masonry work, operate various tools and equipment, and possess strong communication skills and be a good team player. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while developing your expertise in the masonry trade. Wages are based upon experience.
Duties
- Lay bricks, blocks, stones, veneer and other masonry materials according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to execute precise masonry work
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for cutting, lifting, and positioning materials
- Assist in the setup and teardown of scaffolding and other construction equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry work
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, and masonry techniques
- Experience with a variety of masonry projects is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail for precise craftsmanship
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of work
- A team player who works well with our crew and conducts a professional and positive attitude on the job site
- A willingness to grow and develop their skills under the instruction and support of an experienced red seal mason

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
