Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of painting techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires effective communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Perform drywall repairs and other surface preparations prior to painting.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with project staff regarding project progress and addressing any concerns.
Skills
- Proficiency in residential painting techniques as well as commercial painting applications (spraying).
- Strong knowledge of drywall repair methods and surface preparation processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must have valid drivers license
- Must have own transportation
- Must have some tools required for the job
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
