We are looking for either an experienced or willing to train Textile Fabric Cutter. You are looking for a position where you are part of a small team of fabric cutters. We cut and sew fine Italian & German linens in Richmond, BC.
Are you experienced with fabrics, can you cut fabrics? The cutting is what matters most, to produce a good finished item. You must be able to read English cutting diagrams and calculate small adjustments to cut sizes.
Position is full time Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 3.30pm work. We have a friendly, bright work room, including up to 7 people on 4 cutting tables. We are based in South Richmond near the Massey Tunnel.
You must be physically fit, be able to stand most of the day, and be able to comfortably stretch or lean across a table to do this job. Due to the size of the cutting tables you must be a minimum of 5' 3" tall.
Are you are looking for a long term position, and want to be come part of a close knit team of fabric cutters. Pay depending experience, minimum is $17.85 to start as a trainee, depending on if you have relevant experience this could be more.
