Job description:
1. Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of highly automated equipment in a new beverage co-packing plant.
2. Inspect, repair, and adjust production equipment, and work with robotics, PLCs, and instrumentation.
3. Complete electromechanical maintenance tasks and provide detailed reports.
4. Use CMMS to record and complete any work orders for the facility.
5. Diagnose faults in electrical and electronic equipment, including VFDs, relays, solenoids, and circuit breakers.
6. Test and adjust the proper functioning of sensors, including pressure, proximity, ultrasonic, temperature sensors, and encoders.
7. Optimize equipment safety and reliability by performing periodic inspections of electrical panels.
8. Adhere to Electrical Safety Authority codes, legislation, and safety regulations.
9. Work in a continuous improvement environment, focusing on production efficiency growth.
Knowledge, Skills & Education
1. A 442A license is required
2. Ability to read, write and comprehend equipment manuals, safety regulations, and operating instructions.
3. Strong electromechanical knowledge and hands-on skills on using hand tools, Multimeter, Clamp Meter and Megohmmeter.
4. Experience in the Food and Beverage manufacturing and packaging industry is an asset.
5. Experienced in PLC controls system is an asset.
6. Ability to comprehend and communicate specifics regarding equipment problems.
7. Able to work a flexible schedule and weekends if needed.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
