Civil Designer (Land Development) in Vaughan for one of its valued partners, a well-established, employee-owned engineering consulting firm specializing in land development projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
In this position, you will support the design and delivery of subdivision and site plan projects, working closely with senior leadership to develop municipal servicing, grading, and stormwater management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of urban and greenfield developments while continuing to grow your technical and project coordination skills. Salary 100k-150k (depending on experience)

Civil Designer Responsibilities
- Prepare preliminary and detailed engineering designs for land development projects, including subdivisions and site plans
- Develop grading, servicing, and stormwater management drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Support the preparation of functional servicing reports and related technical documentation
- Coordinate design elements with internal teams and external consultants
- Assist in managing multiple projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Collaborate with senior project managers and contribute to project planning and execution
Civil Designer Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering with P.Eng. or C.E.T. designation (or in progress)
- 5+ years of experience in land development design, including subdivision and/or road design
- Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, including grading, servicing, and stormwater management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience preparing functional servicing reports and stormwater calculations is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
- Motivated to grow professionally within land development and project management
