Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible housekeeper and nanny to provide exceptional care for a newborn child in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 year experience working with newborns and a passion for engaging them in various activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage daily routines, meal preparation, and maintain a clean environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
Duties
- Provide attentive and loving care to child, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Hours are M-F 8am-12pm and 3pm - 7pm daily, breaks can be spent at the house
- Engage child in educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Assist with educational projects as the child grows fostering a positive learning environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness in the children's play areas, including tidying up toys and organizing activities. .
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Help with housekeeping including laundry, cleaning bathrooms, dishes, dusting, tidying up around the house during babies nap
- Plan and execute fun outings or activities that encourage physical activity and social interaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caregiving or as a babysitter/nanny is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and educational practices.
- Ability to cook healthy meals and prepare snacks for children.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent cleaning skills to maintain a tidy environment, including Laundry experience.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents.
- A patient, caring demeanor with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
