Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dock Leveler/Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical and various technical skills to effectively install, repair, and maintain dock levelers &garage doors. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
A competitive hourly rate is offered based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair dock levelers & garage doors and openers, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on docks & garage door systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks
- Maintain adequate stock levels of required parts on trucks - identify and report when quantities are low and require re-ordering
- Maintain company truck in clean, organized and safe manner
- Complete required digital work orders and PMP check lists in a timely and appropriate fashion
- Complete ongoing required training to ensure you are able to perform your duties in a safe manner
- Demonstrate proper Safety procedures and product knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the dock & door or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the industry.
- Skills in basic electrical & welding are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers' license & clean abstract

Pay: $28.00-$42.00 per hour
