We are currently hiring a Part-Time Baker
Hours of Work:
- Mondays & Wednesdays
- between 8:00am and 5:00pm
- 12-16 hours per week with the potential for more hours
Qualifications:
- Experience in a professional baking environment is not required but would be an asset
- FoodSafe Certified or willing to become certified
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items
- A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience & quality product
- Willingness to adapt
Baker Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including pastries, confections, cakes and cookies
- ensure that products meet quality standards
- ensure adequate baking goods inventory
- properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Pay is competitive.
