Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment transactions.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the service area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, including roles in restaurants or similar environments.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
