Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Layout/Survey Specialist to support concrete forming projects. This role involves conducting precise surveys, creating detailed layouts, and managing spatial data to ensure accurate project execution. Duties
- Conduct field surveys to collect accurate spatial data using advanced surveying equipment and techniques
- Develop detailed layouts and site plans utilizing AutoCAD, CAD, and GIS software
- Perform data collection, entry, and management within databases and GIS platforms such as ArcGIS
- Analyze survey data to support construction planning and project implementation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure survey accuracy and adherence to project specifications
- Maintain organized records of survey data, maps, and project documentation
- Assist in the integration of GIS data with other project information systems for comprehensive analysis
- Support quality control processes by verifying the precision of survey measurements and layouts
Experience
- Proven experience in construction surveying, layout design, or related fields
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, CAD software, ArcGIS, and GIS data management tools
- Familiarity with data collection techniques, database management, and spatial analysis
- Knowledge of construction processes and standards related to surveying and layout work
- Experience working with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS is highly desirable
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, maps, and blueprints accurately
- Strong organizational skills for managing large datasets and project documentation
