Job Overview
Wasabiya is seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Compensation will be $18.25 per hour plus tip.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations according to sanitation standards
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Follow all restaurant policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards
Requirements
- Must be 19+
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Basic food handling knowledge and hospitality experience are advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends.
