Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients through washing, chopping, and measuring to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management by notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Experience
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
