Job Overview
ScanDesigns and Muse & Merchant are looking for a creative and results-driven Content Creator and Marketing Associate to help grow the online presence of two separate furniture companies.
As the Content Creator and Marketing Associate for ScanDesigns & Muse & Merchant, you will be responsible for producing high-quality videos and photos that showcase our products, educate our audience, and inspire creativity. You’ll work closely with our head buyers and web team to develop content strategies that align with our brand and goals, and you’ll play a key role in building a strong online presence. You will also have key responsbilites in assisting with website updates and changes on a daily basis to learn and grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging video content & product showcases for both store divisions.
- Capture high-quality photos of finished projects, step-by-step processes, and product layouts.
- Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with our brand goals and posting schedule.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and buyers to develop creative concepts and campaigns that resonate with our customer.
- Stay up-to-date with trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms.
- Write Blog Posts, update meta-title and description and general SEO Management.
- Assist the web team in uploading product/photography/content on the two websites.
- Report directly to the head buyers providing regular updates and performance insights.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a social media content creator, with a strong portfolio of video and photo content (experience in the interiors, furniture or fashion industry is a plus).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
