Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling: Create and modify detailed 3D models of components and assemblies using CAD software.
- 2D CAD Drawings: Generate accurate and comprehensive 2D manufacturing drawings, including dimensioning and tolerancing, in accordance with industry standards.
- Drawing and Parts Consolidation: Assist in organizing and consolidating existing drawings and parts lists to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Product Testing and Verification: Participate in the planning, execution, and documentation of product testing and verification procedures to ensure performance and reliability.
- Engineering Design: Contribute to engineering design projects under the guidance of senior engineers, including concept development, calculations, and analysis.
- 3D Animation: Develop engaging 3D animations to visualize product functionality and benefits for marketing and training purposes.
- Product Catalogs: Assist in the creation and maintenance of product catalogs, ensuring technical accuracy and clear presentation of product information.
- Product Installation Guidelines: Develop clear and concise product installation guidelines and instructions for end-users.
- Provide general technical support to the sales, engineering and production teams.
- Undertake other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
- Experience in generating 2D CAD drawings and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is an asset.
- Familiarity with product testing methodologies and data analysis is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of engineering design processes and calculations.
- Experience with 3D animation software is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
