Job Description:
The Estimator position is responsible for reviewing all related bid documents, providing accurate take-off numbers/details, attending job sites and dialoguing with clients and staff, and to provide a summary matrix for pricing for various projects.
Responsibilities would include:
-reviewing prints/addendums/pertinent information required for quoting, including all documents/changes pertaining to CRX’s/RFI’s/SI’s/change orders etc.
-modifying/staying current with changes and upgrades in pricing as required
-assist with contract administration
-attending site meetings as required
Assets for our ideal candidate would include:
-Strong analytical skills
-Ability to work well in a team environment
-Experience within the commercial construction industry
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office with a strong focus on Excel
-Proficiency using autocad and BlueBeam software
-Excellent interpersonal skills, especially as they pertain to relationship-building with outside contractors, as well as employees both in office, and on site.
-Has a valid drivers license and vehicle
