ANIML is INK Entertainment’s new steakhouse experience hidden in the heart of King Street West. ANIML is a nouveau steakhouse offering modern renditions of classic dishes where aesthetic meats meet audacious luxury. Everything is within reach—from delicate buttery fish from the farthest Patagonian region to selected meats from the Canadian prairies to beer-fed cattle from Japan.
We are looking for a Bartender who possesses exceptional mixology skills, sharp attention to detail, and a passion for luxury hospitality to lead our bar experience.

The Opportunity
As a Bartender at ANIML, you are at the center of our guest experience and cocktail culture.
You will prepare and serve handcrafted cocktails, premium spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages for both bar patrons and dining room service. Combining speed, precision, and a team-first mindset, you will maintain an impeccably clean station, manage liquor inventory, and create unforgettable guest connections with every pour.
What You'll Do
Beverage Preparation & Guest Service
- Prepare and serve premium liquors, signature cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently for guests and waitstaff.
- Prep and stock fresh garnishes, fruit, mixes, and glassware prior to venue opening.
- Engage with guests at the bar, taking orders, offering expert recommendations, and fulfilling special beverage requests with sophistication.
- Verify legal drinking age by checking valid photo identification in accordance with smart serve regulations.
- Process guest payments accurately through POS cash register systems.
- Exercise sound judgment to handle intoxicated or disruptive patrons calmly, professionally, and safely.
Bar Operations & Inventory Control
- Maintain an organized, pristine, and beautifully displayed bar area at all times.
- Monitor stock levels of spirits, wines, beers, and bar supplies; submit orders or inventory requisitions as needed.
- Ensure all glassware, bar tools, and prep surfaces strictly adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Perform opening, running, and closing bar duties, including restocking, securing liquor, and cleaning equipment.
- Execute delegated tasks from the General Manager, Executive Chef, or Sous Chef.
Team Collaboration
- Work seamlessly with servers, support staff, and kitchen teams to ensure prompt drink execution for the floor.
- Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor under high-pressure services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership to support venue operations.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly skilled, professional Bartender who brings craftsmanship, energy, and poise to the bar.
You bring:
- Certification: Valid Smart Serve Certification is required; completion of mixology or bartender training programs is a strong asset.
- Experience: 2–3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, lounge, or cocktail bar environment.
- Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of classic and modern cocktail preparation, spirit profiles, wine service, and glassware standards.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm, composed, and diplomatic under pressure.
- Tech Proficiency: Ability to learn and operate POS cash register software quickly and accurately.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and lift/carry bar supplies and kegs weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Flexibility: Open availability to work day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Commute: Ability to reliably commute to King Street West (Toronto, ON).

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: Salary commensurate with overall experience.
- Additional Pay: Tip pool eligibility.
- Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, Internship / Co-op (Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, & Holiday shifts)
