Niagara Energy Products, with a reputation for excellence as a producer of heavy nuclear grade fabrications is currently recruiting for a QC Inspector to fulfill our growing demands of production. In this role, the candidate will provide support to the Production Department in various QC duties. The QC Inspector will work with the department to achieve high quality in job production and complete assigned projects under tight deadlines. We have (2) two positions available in Niagara Falls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Principles of checking and QC inspection
- Thorough knowledge of product requirements
- visual, dimensional, welding inspection
- Perform and report in-process inspections
- Able to use a caliper, micrometer, weld gauge, and other basic inspection tools
Job Requirements:
- Holding CGSB Level II in MT/PT is an asser
- Holding CWB Level II is a requirement
- knowledge and experience with CMM Romer arm is an asset
- Familiar with manufacturing drawings, NCR, etc.
- Manufacturing processes, quality inspection techniques.
- at least two years work experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP-NAV is an asset
- Able to judge the product acceptance
- Able to write a non-conforming report
- Computer skills: Word, Excel,
- Shift work may be required
