Recreational Acro Instructor (Wednesday Evenings)

Move With Grace is an established, award-winning dance studio that has been inspiring dancers in Cambridge for more than 20 years. We are passionate about creating an environment where every dancer experiences Belonging, Purpose, and Pride while receiving exceptional dance education.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Acro Instructor to join our teaching team for Wednesday evenings beginning in September 2026.
Position Details
- Wednesday evening classes (September 2026 – June 2027)
- Approximately 3–5 teaching hours per week to start
- Opportunity for additional substitute teaching, camps, workshops, and summer programming
- In-person position located in Cambridge, Ontario
What You'll Do
- Teach engaging recreational acro classes for children ages 4–12
- Plan age-appropriate, progressive lessons that build strength, flexibility, confidence, and safe technique
- Create a positive, encouraging classroom environment where every dancer feels successful
- Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold studio expectations
- Communicate professionally with studio leadership
- Work collaboratively with our experienced teaching team
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience teaching acro to children
- Has strong technical knowledge of acro fundamentals and safe progression
- Is energetic, reliable, organized, and punctual
- Enjoys working with young dancers
- Values consistency and wants to be part of a long-term studio community
Acrobatic Arts certification is considered an asset but is not required for the right candidate.
