Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and served promptly to maintain quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs for timely restocking
- Assist with meal plating and garnishing for visual appeal
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods or special events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a must. Breakfast experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, weekends or evenings if required
- Passion for the food industry and a desire to grow culinary skills
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
