Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Coffee & Smoothie Bar Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing daily operations of the beverage station, preparing high-quality drinks, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, barista skills, and excellent time management abilities. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of coffee, smoothie, and other beverage orders efficiently and accurately
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained at all times during food handling and preparation
- Serve customers with professionalism and friendliness, addressing inquiries and special requests
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, restocking as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage station and surrounding areas
- Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures in food preparation and serving
- Assist with training new team members on food handling, POS operation, and customer service standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a sales or barista or in the food industry with knowledge of coffee and smoothie preparation
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient cashiering and transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers effectively
Pay: $17.20-$27.96 per hour
