Client Behavioural Services Consultant
Independent Counselling Enterprises (ICE) is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join its Provincial Behavioural Services team as a Client Behavioural Services Consultant. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavioural support services across the organization, ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements, industry best practices, and organizational standards.
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Client Behavioural Services Consultant plays a key role in promoting quality service delivery and positive outcomes for individuals receiving support. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and provides supervision to the Team Coordinator – Behavioural Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behaviour Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Track, evaluate, and review behavioural support strategies and outcomes across the province.
- Collaborate with agency personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services.
- Provide consultation, guidance, and training to staff regarding behavioural support practices.
- Liaise with external professionals and community resources to support effective behaviour planning and intervention.
- Participate in individual service planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions as required.
- Facilitate Restrictive Procedures Advisory Committee (RPAC) meetings and related processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, accreditation standards, agency policies, and documentation requirements.
- Promote and maintain effective risk management practices and procedures.
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance support to the Team Coordinator – Behavioural Services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum two-year post-secondary education in Rehabilitation Services, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in the community rehabilitation sector, including practical experience in behavioural support and management strategies.
- Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and evaluating positive behaviour support plans and interventions.
- Strong communication, consultation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is required
