Join Our Team as a Service/Parts Advisor!
Y.B. Services Inc. is looking for an organized, customer focused Service/Parts Advisor to join our team in Yellowknife.
This is a hands on role where no two days are the same. You'll be the link between our customers, technicians, Shop Foreman, and suppliers, helping keep jobs organized and moving through the shop efficiently.
This position is currently open to Yellowknife residents only.

What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for customers in person, by phone, and by email
- Create, update, and close work orders
- Work with the Shop Foreman to schedule repairs and keep jobs on track
- Review technician stories before invoicing to ensure they are complete and accurate
- Order, receive, and allocate parts to work orders
- Schedule repairs based on technician and parts availability
- Keep customers updated on repair progress and timelines
- Coordinate with suppliers on parts orders and deliveries
- Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and service records
- Assist general office duties
- Help keep the parts department organized and inventory accurate
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, Service Coordinator, or similar role
- Heavy Duty, Automotive, or Trucking industry experience is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and solid computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and clean driver's abstract
