Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within the food service industry.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with food plating, garnishing, and portioning to ensure consistency
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Maintain organized workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, meal preparation techniques, and food presentation skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and efficiency is highly valued
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles is a plus

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
