Position Overview:
The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating a crew of 2-5 for on-site activities to ensure efficient and high-quality completion of residential and commercial projects. This role involves managing daily operations, overseeing equipment and personnel, and maintaining safety standards. The Foreman must demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate tasks such as placing and grading topsoil, final grading, planting, snow removal, and loading trucks.
- Operate and manage landscape equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure regular maintenance of equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Oversee the execution of landscaping projects to meet specifications and client expectations.
- Work effectively with contractors and coworkers on-site to ensure seamless project execution.
- Promote a culture of safety and efficiency while meeting tight deadlines.
- Provide clear direction and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure all safety protocols and best practices are adhered to on-site.
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship in all tasks and activities.
- Conduct regular safety checks and inspections to prevent hazards and ensure compliance.
- Perform duties in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial worksites.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, often on uneven terrain.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of contractors and coworkers.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, bend, and kneel, with the capacity to handle heavy loads (50 lbs and up).

Experience
- Proven experience with landscaping, grading, and snow removal tasks.
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining landscape equipment
- Strong understanding of pre-trip checklists and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with SiteDocs and LMN software is an asset

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
