We are looking for someone to join our family business team. We’re a business thats been serving the Toronto area for over 40 years and hold strong values in customer satisfaction, positive work environments, and community. Not only are we looking for someone to be a key team member in our office but a colleague who we can trust, teach, and enjoy working with. The plumbing industry is very niche and requires lots of knowledge in it to be successful, however, this position will be suitable for someone with a strong work ethic but most importantly someone with a desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Manage basic office duties including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with proper phone etiquette
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using our personalized business software
- Handle filing systems, document proofreading, and organization of office supplies and records
- Support bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, billing, quotes, purchase orders and basic financial record keeping
- Assist with customer support and client communication to ensure high levels of satisfaction
- Coordinate appointments, schedule meetings, and manage calendars for staff members
- Maintain a professional appearance of the front desk area and ensure compliance with office policies

- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective data entry skills with high accuracy and speed (typing proficiency)
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette for handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism
