We are dedicated to helping clients seamlessly navigate the homeownership journey by providing expert advice and tailored financial solutions. We are currently seeking a driven, licensed, and experienced Residential Mortgage Agent Level 1 to join our expanding team in Mississauga.
Mandatory Requirement: An active and valid Residential Mortgage Agent License in Ontario is strictly required. Candidates without a valid license will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation & Planning: Assess clients' financial circumstances (income, assets, credit history) and deliver tailored mortgage strategies for home purchases or refinancing.
- Mortgage Origination & Processing: Package, underwrite, and submit complete mortgage applications to lenders. Manage the pipeline from origination through to appraisal, underwriting, and legal closing.
- Business Development: Proactively build and cultivate a strong referral network with real estate agents, builders, financial planners, and lawyers to drive new leads.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all files meet regulatory industry standards, lender guidelines, and internal company compliance policies.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain transparent, regular communication with clients, ensuring a high-touch, seamless service experience that drives repeat and referral business.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensing: Active & valid Residential Mortgage Agent License in Ontario (Mandatory).
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in mortgage brokering, mortgage sales, banking, or lending.
- Education: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Real Estate is a strong asset.
- Compliance: Clean regulatory record and strict adherence to industry ethical standards.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of residential mortgage products, credit assessment, and qualification guidelines.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple complex files simultaneously with sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency with standard mortgage software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assets: An existing referral network or multilingual capabilities are highly preferred.
Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
