We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Professional Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate must specialize in modern and traditional fades, straight-razor work, beard grooming, and precision haircuts. The barber should provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and professional workspace, and consistently deliver high-quality results.(Pay is 50% commission+ tip)
Responsibilities
- Perform professional fades, including skin fades, taper fades, drop fades, and burst fades.
- Provide straight-razor shaves, beard lineups, neck shaves, and detailed finishing work.
- Deliver traditional and modern men’s haircuts based on each client’s preferences.
- Provide beard trimming, shaping, grooming, and maintenance services.
- Consult with clients and recommend suitable hairstyles and grooming services.
- Maintain clean and sanitized tools, equipment, barber chairs, and workstations.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Build strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat business.
- Manage appointments efficiently and provide services on time.
- Stay updated on current barbering styles, techniques, and grooming trends.
- Recommend and promote suitable hair and beard-care products when appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of professional barbering experience.
- Advanced skills in all types of fades and precision blending.
- Strong experience with straight-razor shaving and detailed razor work.
- Excellent beard trimming, shaping, and lineup skills.
- Ability to perform both modern and traditional men’s haircuts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, punctual, and well-groomed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
- Must have a valid barbering licence or certification where required.
- A strong portfolio or photographs of previous work are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing client base is considered an asset.
- Experience working in a busy or high-end barbershop.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Knowledge of different hair textures and grooming needs.
- Experience with hairstyling, hair products, and customer consultations.
