Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by maintaining efficiency and organization
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail in food presentation and quality
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is advantageous
