Pay: Starting at $30.00 per hour, with pay based on experience
DRC Group is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on carpentry experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently or as part of a crew on residential and/or commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general carpentry duties, including framing, finishing, installation, repairs, and renovations
- Read and follow project instructions, drawings, and measurements
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and related equipment
- Load, unload, and handle materials safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and site-specific requirements
- Work professionally with supervisors, trades, clients, and team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical work throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman Carpenter Certificate preferred
- Experience in renovations, framing, finishing, or general construction
- Fall protection, WHMIS, first aid, or other safety tickets
- Own basic tools
