Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
- Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of all dishes
- Support the kitchen team by efficiently managing multiple tasks during service periods
- Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
- Adhere to sanitation policies and health regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations in the food industry
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
