Class 1 Driver Position
A well-established flat deck company headquartered in Calgary is seeking to add another Class 1 driver to its growing fleet.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes in Calgary and Alberta. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support various operational needs.

Expectations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation.
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- English is mandatory to communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Complete all online training modules provided by the company.
- Some physical tasks (heavy lifting and load securement) will be required.
- The position requires the willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean abstract.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or freight transportation, minimum of two years documented.
- Experience operating Moffet forklifts and Hiab pickers is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to freight handling and transportation.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments.
- Familiarity with the city of Calgary and surrounding municipalities.
