About the Role
MeLor Services connects passionate Early Childhood Assistants with licensed childcare centres across Toronto and the surrounding areas. As an on-call supply ECA, you’ll step into a variety of classroom settings — infants through school-age — supporting permanent educators and helping children thrive every day.
This role is ideal for ECAs who love variety, value flexibility, and want to grow their experience across multiple childcare environments.
What You’ll Do
- Support lead educators with daily routines, programming, and learning activities
- Guide children’s emotional, social, and physical development through play and interaction
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
- Adapt confidently to different age groups and centre cultures
What You Need
- Experience working in a licensed childcare setting in Ontario (required)
- ECA certification (preferred but not required)
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid & CPR certification
- WHMIS certification
- Up-to-date immunization records
- Strong English communication skills

Commuting note: Centres are located across Toronto and the surrounding areas; some shifts may require up to 1 hour of travel by TTC or other transit.
