Overview:
We are looking for a versatile Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily operations in our in-house restaurants, conference/banquet facilities and related food and beverage hotel locations. This role ensures smooth service, strong team leadership, and exceptional guest experiences across all areas.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Supervise front-of-house restaurant and banquet staff, ensuring service and safety standards.
- Train, coach, and motivate associates; ensure proper company and property grooming and uniform standards.
- Leading and motivating the restaurant team to exceed our customer’s expectations.
- Running the floor, this includes monitoring for seating availability
- Inspecting grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
- Coaching staff on a daily basis to ensure that customer needs are met.
- Driving systems and standards of the concept through role modeling constantly and spot-checking procedures.
- Completing scheduled monthly inventories and replenish stock and requisitioned supplies.
- Completing opening and closing duties.
- Reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the General Manager.
- Ensuring all Associates has been trained properly before given any task assignment.
- Motivating and encouraging employees to perform their best, making them accountability for their work area and providing feedback on possible improvements.
- Responding appropriately to employees concerns.
- Focusing on guest satisfaction and improvement during all departmental meetings.
Our Ideal Food and Beverage Supervisor will have:
- Previous supervisory or management experience in restaurant operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of computerized Point of Sales systems is an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills..
- Commitment to delivering high-quality guest service.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, co-operatively within a team setting and as well as the ability to plan and multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
