Our restaurant is searching for Line Cooks/Prep Cooks to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to the owner's standards. You should be able to work well on a team, have experience with food service and be adept at using kitchen utensils. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling fast-paced cooking situations, demonstrating strong time management skills and responding to the needs of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate proper infection control measures.
- Be courteous and customer service oriented.
- Follow health codes and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques used in the business.
- Work well in a team
- Able to perform under pressure
- Has experience in the kitchen
- Passionate about food
- Willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification and Smartserve
- Maintain cleanliness of area
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
