About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Forklift Operator (shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am) who is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished foam products throughout the manufacturing facility and warehouse. In this role, you will support production operations by ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate locations, inventory is accurately managed, and all safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport raw materials, foam blocks, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
- Supply production lines with required materials and remove finished goods from production areas.
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts and report maintenance issues promptly to management.
- Assist with general warehouse and production support duties as required.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to safely handle large, bulky, and lightweight foam products.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
