Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Installer & Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, construction, and finishing of swimming pools, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and safety. Duties
- Assist with the excavation, framing, and assembly of pool structures according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support with plumbing and electrical connections necessary for pool functionality
- Apply finishing touches such as caulking, plastering, tile laying, and concrete finishing to ensure a polished final product
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately follow project specifications
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction site work or related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and basic construction techniques such as concrete forming and masonry
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel or equipment operation roles
