Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our hospitality facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that cleanliness standards are maintained at all times, supervise housekeeping staff, and promote a welcoming environment for guests. Experience in hotel or custodial services, along with strong leadership skills, is essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standards to meet quality expectations
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Address guest concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally
- Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for staff and guests
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance requests and special cleaning projects
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality, hotel housekeeping, or property management is highly preferred
- Strong background in cleaning techniques across various environments including industrial or commercial settings
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a cleaning or hospitality environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of industry standards for cleanliness, safety procedures, and guest service excellence
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, industrial cleaning methods, and hospitality operations is a plus
