Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver / Tradeshow Installer to join our team. This role involves transporting exhibition materials, setting up displays at various trade shows, and ensuring all equipment is safely and efficiently installed. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the successful presentation of our clients' brands across multiple locations.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for transporting trade show materials and equipment to various venues.
- Load and unload trucks, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of trade show displays, including assembling structures, arranging signage, and installing lighting or audiovisual components.
- Coordinate with event organizers and team members to ensure timely and accurate installation.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move large or bulky items safely within warehouses or at event sites.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding schedules, safety protocols, and setup instructions.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during client interactions at trade shows.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or tradeshow setup is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings depending on event schedules.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude when representing the company at various locations.
Pay: $18.25-$28.25 per hour
