Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dependable Class 1 Truck Driver for local and regional runs, including Vancouver Island and BC Interior. Occasional overnight stays may be required. Cross-border capability is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Complete runs to Vancouver Island and Interior BC (occasional 1-day overnight required)
- Follow all company and regulatory guidelines for transport and delivery
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
- No criminal record (must be able to pass a background check)
- Cross-border eligibility is an asset
- Clean Driver’s Abstract preferred
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills
