Ironworx is a family-owned excavation company known for quality work and a great crew. We tackle a mix of residential, commercial, and civil excavation projects. We are looking for a versatile Labourer / Operator—someone who is a capable machine operator but isn't afraid to jump out of the cab and roll up their sleeves when the job requires it.
What You’ll Do
Operate heavy equipment (Mini-Excavators, Full-Size Excavators, Skid Steers, or Dozers) safely and efficiently for grading, trenching, and backfilling.
Transition seamlessly between operating machinery and performing ground labor (shoveling, raking, checking grade, site clean-up) as needed.
Perform daily pre-trip equipment inspections and basic maintenance (greasing, cleaning tracks/cabs).
Assist the pipe laying and grading crew with ground support.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in an excavation environment plus a strong background in general civil construction/site servicing labor.
License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (AZ/DZ license is a huge asset but not required).
Competency in reading grade stakes and working closely with a ground crew.
Physical fitness and the willingness to do manual labor alongside operating.
