SMS Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Coordinator to support the coordination of product-related activities across our operations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing documentation, supporting sales and logistics processes, and ensuring alignment between internal stakeholders to meet timelines and business objectives. Location: Acheson, AB
Work Arrangement: Fixed on site – 5 days per week in the office
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate product-related activities, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and documentation are accurate and up to date
- Maintain detailed records including cost sheets, purchase orders, invoices, and supplier documentation
- Prepare and manage equipment sales and rental documentation, including invoicing and billing requirements
- Support branches with documentation related to stock arrivals and inventory processes
- Coordinate freight arrangements with internal logistics teams
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and internal teams to prepare cost sheets and pricing adjustments
- Monitor and reconcile supplier invoices and cost-of-sales accruals
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment on transactions
- Assist in improving processes, tools, and reporting related to product coordination activities
What You Bring
You bring a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales support, administration, or a related coordination role, along with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams to support operational and commercial outcomes. Other requirements include:
- Well-developed organizational and documentation skills with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- A customer-focused approach when working with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with computer systems and business tools
- Ability to manage deadlines and balance competing priorities
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in equipment distribution or a related industry
