Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Summer Student (must qualify for applicable summer student grant funding) to assist with the launch of our new business. The successful candidate will work directly on the development of our website and help plan and execute a comprehensive social media campaign designed to drive traffic and engagement once the website launches.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in web development, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, social media, and entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ongoing website development and testing.
- Help build and enhance our WordPress/Elementor website.
- Create graphics, videos, and promotional content.
- Assist with developing and launching a large multi-platform social media campaign.
- Create content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Strava, and other digital platforms.
- Produce short promotional videos and marketing materials using AI and video editing tools.
- Research online marketing opportunities, partnerships, influencers, and running communities.
- Assist with SEO and digital marketing initiatives.
- Help drive visitors and engagement to the website through creative marketing campaigns.
- Perform other marketing and web development duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must qualify for applicable Summer Student grant funding.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Experience with web development is required.
- Experience with WordPress and Elementor is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with the following software is a significant asset:
- iMovie
- Final Cut Pro
- InVideo
- Envato Elements
- ChatGPT
- HeyGen
- CapCut
- Leonardo AI
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Creative, organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
