At the forefront of service delivery to individuals, families and communities, TCS is seeking skilled, experienced and self-directed managers to assist in the development of staffed homes and/or community-based programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Duties include:
- Leading a team of staff members working in community, staffed home and/or community-based programming;
- Developing community activities and opportunities to enhance the inclusion and acceptance of individuals with developmental disabilities;
- Participating in a person-centered planning process for individuals; and
- Managing a staffed home.
To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate extensive experience as a Community Service Worker in a staffed home and/or community setting. Supervisory experience, mediation and advocacy skills are an asset. You must have a sincere commitment to providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
As the successful candidate, you will be an excellent interpersonal communicator and able to maintain a flexible schedule as necessary. You will also be a team player that this is able to build relationships with individuals, families, staff members, employers and government ministries and organizations.
This is a salaried management position, with an annual starting salary of $71,020.56, based on education, credentials, and experience. The compensation package includes company-paid benefits, and a defined benefit pension plan through the Municipal Pension Plan.
This is a Staffed Home position, based in Prince Rupert. A personal vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.
